Hi Stephan, Did you manage to get one of these from gb airspares? You will only manage to regulate an oil pressure of 30psi with the 60 psi rated one if you are using it with a PWM motor speed controller for a closed loop feedback oil system. They are normally connected with a cannon type plug and you can get them from here; www.servoconnectors.co.uk/ But its a UK company and also you will need part numbers and make sure you ask for the untraceable/uncertified connectors otherwise you will be paying £700 for one connector with a certificate of airworthiness. If you are using it for the PWM speed controller you will have to solder wires directly onto the end connections of the wire wound variable resistor that is inside the body of the unit and drill out the two rivets that hold the metal clips that stop the connection plug from unscrewing and pass the wires through these holes then solder a wire onto the pin in the plug connection that is connected to the sweeper arm of the variable resistor. To take the cover body off the variable resistor just unscrew the three lock wired screws and pull the cover off, note the orientation of the cover as it will only fit on in one position because the screws are at an odd distance apart. You have to solder wires straight to the ends of the wire wound resistor because there is a coil of very fine coil wire connected to one of the output pins and this gives a very high resistance reading that is too high for a control input into a PWM speed controller. All will be made clear when you take the cover body off, Richard S. Any of my british friends(or anyone) who know how to connect this thing?....what type of electrical connection?...Cannon?...amphenol?? This is a NOS piece sangamo Weston (pressure transducer) Cheers/Stephan

Hi Stephan, The red arrows are where you need to solder the three separate wires too. The green arrow shows you the pin that runs down to the connection on the sweeper. Richard S.

Would it work to have that way?something similar like John did on the Gt6041 turbojet engine. It is two 4" 90 degree exhaust bends ,Will be connected with straight silicone coupler. Cheers Stephan

No doubt it will work, it just looks a bit bulky.

Watching at this work made my hands sweating... I had my HX60 settled in my parents garage since 2006. I really want to hear it roaring, but I must start with something smaller in next months...❤️

I paid my HX60 75€, if I'm not wrong. A boy from a repairing truck shop tells me that the turbo was installed as a new unit on a R144L of a customer, and it ran about half an year. After that the truck had a big accident, and before of carrying it to the scrapyard, they strip down some useful parts.
The turbo sits under a bench for over a year, then the shop boss, that don't remember what it is, decided to send it to a rebuild. Then the boy, who read a thread on an italian car forum where I wrote at the time, decided to help me, asking his boss for the turbo and selling me for that little money.
I measured all the play of the shaft, and the turbo seems to be perfect, according with the Holset repair manual!

I can't find any Holset "turbojet dragster" related thread.
Maybe it is a problem because I read using tapatalk?
