Here we go again, a new and much improved (we hope...) jetkick will be built for the race five months from now! I´ll fill you in with some info later but here is my friend shining like a sun with 6m3 of sheet metal for the build. 100kg of thrust is the goal, and >150km/h top speed at the flying kilometer.

WHOOOOO HOOOOOOOO! here we go again is right! make sure it is loud, dangerous, and consumes more fuel per run than anything else. Will it have a cup holder?

Hi guys! Olov got a fair bit of work done this weekend while I celebrated my little brothers 30th birthday, the flame tube sheets are finished so we can roll and weld them any day now. At least I have managed to overhaul my plasma cutter so we can make the flanges for the combustors, there will be five flanges for each one so lots of cutting. Drilling! And finished! We will copy the vapour tube arrangement from the old engine with three 17mm vapour tubes, I had an idea to try another style but we decided to go for the tried version. No time to rebuild anything this close to the race. Cheers! /Anders

Hi John, A few more of them now, yes. The bellmouthing and angling will be done after the tubes are rolled, they won´t fit the slip rolls otherwise. Cheers! /Anders

Hi Anders, This build won't take two long to get up and running as you have extra help on hand. What type of turbos are you going to use?? Cheers, Mark. -

Hi Mark, Actually it is me helping Olov, he is the one paying for everything. We are using a pair of Schitzer S500, 80mm comp inducer and 90mm turbine exducer. Cheers! /Anders

Kick building time tonight, we cut out the combustor flanges and started to trim them to size in the lathe. Ernie, I forgot to answer you earlier. We are looking for some high flow nitrous solenoids that can be used for the turbine air start, do you have any suggestions for what we should look for? Cheers! /Anders
