Hi Guys,
Thanks for the support! Anders, that would be really good if you could print the pattern, I don't know anyone with a 3D printer. The turbine wheel arrived from Smithy today. I'll update my thread with some pics.

Hi All, I finished the fuel manifold and the oil line to the bearings. I JB welded the oil line to the diffuser. Jeff

Hi All, On the topic of oil, what oil do you guys recommend in regards to model aircraft turbines? I use the oil pictured in my Kingtech K80, but I've heard of folks using 2 stroke oil too. Jeff

I use Mobil Jet-II but what you have is fine...5% as you would use in the Kingtech is also fine..I have a K80E, a K45G and a K180G...all use the same Mobil Jet-II oil at 5%..!
Some use 2 stroke, I believe it should be TCW-3 spec such as they use in outboard marine engines.
Cheers, Smithy.

Hi All, I had to devise something to hold the burner can in position. Due to the flange on the rear ring of the burner can only being 5/32" long, I was afraid of it sliding forward (the can could slip off the NGV), or sliding rearward (then there would be a huge step in the gas path). I had two T nuts welded to the top ring of the can and tapped two 6-32" holes in the diffuser, so a screw could hold the can in position. I just used two screws, I would have preferred to use three, but there was always a diffuser vane in the way.

Hi All,
Kind of off topic, but somebody on my local Craigslist site has a Garret JFS-100-13a turbine for sale for 2,400.00. Is that a good deal? The ad doesn't have a whole lot of info, other than 'it spins freely'.

G'day does the JFS come with the free power unit? And is there any parts missing on the engine? And how many starts has it had? $2,400 is not a bad price. but you better ask the seller the questions that i put up on here and see how you go. A mate of mind has a JFS in running cond that he wants to sell if your interested I'll give you his contact details.
Cheers, Mark.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the reply. Here are some pics of it, not sure if the part the guy is holding is the free power unit or not.
