Looks like another flame tube and ignition and fuel? Yeah...You can essentially leave the basic engine as it is....just add a correctly designed tailpipe, spray ring, flame holder and ignition source are required...I've been able to get ~30-35% extra thrust from my two machines....A few words of warning though....they're terribly thirsty!! There's plenty of experienced guys on here to help if needed....Anders, Andy M and John are all great sources of info. Cheers, Smithy.

Make sure to use an EFI fuel pump so that you have enough fuel pressure, if the pump isn´t powerful enough the afterburner won´t work properly and keep flaming out at full throttle.

Yep....Anders is quite right. I've actually got "Twin" Bosch 044 EFI pumps running in parallel for my 6041 setup...pressure required only has to be several psi above exhaust pipe pressure, the higher the better for atomization though. I use twin pumps because I need a fairly high fuel volume. I also have another separate EFI pump and shut-off solenoid for the hot streak system, is working a treat now.. Cheers, Smithy.

I was trying to get a video for you guys tonight but my phone battery was too dead it wouldn't allow the camera to be turned on but I have one more question after I was running for about 3 minutes my oil temp good the turbine housing is running about 730 degrees with a temp gun but the lid of my combustion housing right where my fuel nozzle is and my spark plug is... the whole lid is starting to glow orangish red... I'm assuming that means my fuel is mixing right in the very top... is that glowing desired?

Hi
What can happen is theres circulation at the top of your flametube which brings flames into contact with the lid , you could try drilling some holes right up at the very top of your flametube so that they discharge across the inner surface of your lid , try 2 mm dia holes ,maybe a dozen of then , so one roughly every inch around the circumference of the 4" flametube .
When you say " 730 degrees " , I'm assuming thats degrees F , not degrees C , if degrees C then its a bit hot ;-)
Cheers John

Hi
If you find the 2mm holes don't give sufficient cooling drill them out to 3 or 4 mm dia

The curtain holes did the trick... now I'm working on the after burner... You wouldn't believe how hard it is to search these threads for afterburner... Afterburner turns up 2 results AB turned up 0 results Flame holder finally helped me out... After reading lots of threads... I'm going to complete my tailpipe hopefully Monday. .. building my AB based on this design tgat I found here on JATO ... postimg.cc/image/o72gp5r87/My question... will the ring have to be as extravagant if running on propane? Can I get away with one 1/4 pipe runing tge whole diameter with half dozen holes in it? Thanks in advance ..

Hi
You'll be burning 3 times as much fuel in the A/B as in the gas producer combustor , so you might need to consider something a tad bigger than 1/4" if using gasious propane rather than a liquid .
As for the number of holes , 6 would be bare minimum , preferably more so as to provide an even coverage of fuel , you don't want areas without fuel to urn
Cheers John

Yep....What John said, the A/B is horrendously thirsty, but they make a great noise when running nicely...Be sure to give your pipe plenty of area/volume for the fuel to burn.
Cheers, Smithy.

Big success this weekend. .. my turbojet was ranked number one for the "brojects" Worked very well... only issue I had was difficulty of starting when oil was -3°c... youtu.be/YKS_CE3gNL8
