So I'm heading up the restoration of my university's Pratt and Whitney JT12 engine and I am not really sure where to even begin. There are so many parts! I've looked over the service school notebook that I have for it, but I am still lost. I am wondering if anyone here has any experience with this engine and could share those experiences. It's a beautiful engine that we have and any advice is greatly appreciated!

I've done a little work on the J-60....we had one in a Jet dragster some years ago.....great little engine. There are several different variants of them...-3, -5, -9 etc...Do you know which one you have.?? Cheers, Smithy.
