Apparently the heat shield got stucked in the turbine housing so it got jammed by the rotating assembly so it could not come off..... The context out of this is that it Will NOT become any engine...

Compressor housing back on the turbo, the turbine and its internal housing is soaked with rust penetrating oil After a couple of hours it got fully loose so it can be turned around, but the housing dont come off get, turbine can rotate with some slight rubbing (dont know if it is because nothing hold the turbine housing down now) I hope i am lucky here and nothing is wrong with the wheel!

I hope your right John....it would be a major setback if it indeed is destroyed!

Buggerbugger! If that turbine wheel got damaged then i must find a replacement wheel, the Ones i have seen is the one used with superback compressor wheel, that turbine wheel för superback is shorter than mine and it has a different compressor back plate and oil slinger.....THEN i must also get a New compressor wheel (a superback one)DUUUUHHH!!

BUGGERBUGGERBUGGER!! GRRRR.....I Think that i damaged the turbine, was trying to take off turbine housing, its stucked solid so i heated around with a propane burner, piece of wood and a small sledge, tapping around it and it started to get loose BUT the rotating assembly got stucked ,bugger bugger!! I have to construct a couple of "pushers" to place between turbine housing and bearing housing front Wall to push the turbine housing in a even manner Hopefully turbine survived

Have been looking at my project today Took off the compressor housing,Heavy piece of kit because it is cast iron! Compressor inducer is 100mm,the hub is 36ish mm,tip height is 9,6ish something My New compressor wheel from mambatek is 100mm inducer ofcourse, with the hub diameter of27ish mm....should be a tad more flow than the original wheel i think?,tip height is the same Cheers/Stephan

This is VERY interesting!, John are you going to install the afterburner now OR is that idea No Good idea? Would this be able to be used in lightweight homebuilt aircraft? Cheers/Stephan

Me Again,i Think it need more air in to engine, if you go higher pressure you would loose thrust instead...Hmmm?

Hmmm,THAT was interesting, more speed less thrust gain, wonder why....Hmmm? Maybe need longer jetpipe? So the gasses can level out but temps would go up

Maybe the starter setup is in the way? It become a disturbance when everything is fitted to the engine ? Scratching my head here! Interesting and frustrating at the same time!
