Hi Dan Theres a different flametube fitted to the 2S/150A APU according to my www.amazon.co.uk/Pistons-Blades-Turbine-Developments-Historical/dp/1872922236 ( a good read) , its an annular one made by Lucas and the fuel delivery is rudimentry , which is probably OK as long as the engine is run straight up to full rpm , often APUs require the starter to be kept engaged a lot long than just "idle" sort of rpm, it might pay to have a chat to some of the guys who've actually run these engines as theres very little info available, even though the basic gas producer was used for a couple of other APUs including the one with the redux gearbox used on the Avro 748 aircraft to drive the Dart engine's ancillories on the ground . A wastegate would be a good idea if its possible to fit one as the engine might require a fairly high idle rpm ...............lotsa unknowns when modifying an engine and is one reason I've never gone down the commercial engine route , I recon if I make it then I can modify it :-) Please keep us up to date on what you find out Cheers John

Hello,
Due to taking on a massive construction project, I will have to rest my aspirations of building this motorcycle for an unknown period of time.
Plans will resume once I've finished building the family home, and who knows what goodies will be on the market then...
Regards Dan
