Hi Andy, Great job on that wheel, it doesn't get easy especially when you are teaching yourself, it was hard for me too since no good information on YouTube to copy from. Here is the result of my attempts on getting it look good just for visual. Have not seen the x846 before though, just few information online. If your need the traditional CAD file, I will be more that willing to share. Love your work, mine on the way.... Cheers Chuks Nice work :-) how you getting on with fusion 360, i been doing the CAM for the new engine... Find it so much easier than any other package i have worked with before This mite help..... .. lots of his i find a good help you made a nice job of the comp wheel..... All The Best Andy

Hi Andy, Nice CAD work and those cut parts look sweet. Good luck! Chris Thanks Chris The Cad has been made so much easier by using Fusion 360, i did some 2D cad training 15 years ago, but this new package and some help from youtube is, well at time mind blowing. You can go back in the history make a small change in some thing, and it will up date every thing that followed. To me that quite smart The new laser cutting company I am using, seem very on the ball, Thanks Andy

That is some excellent cad work! Do you know what laser process the shop uses? I've had parts cut be CO2 laser and fibre optic and fibre optic was so much better. I primarily use Inventor for 3d CAD, have you tried it? I use fusion for CAM to make the gcode for the mill and lathe, but I couldn't get used to using it for everything

I have done a little CAM in Fusion as well. But the guy doing the parts for me, is doing the CAM in the software he knows. The Laser company use fibre laser, i just send DXF file and they cut from that. Thanks Andy
