Anyone know anything about the quality of the 200-ish dollar high pressure compressors that are found all over Ebay and other markets? www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300BAR-4500PSI-High-Pressure-Air-Compressor-PCP-Airgun-Scuba-Air-Pump-220V-ACEE-/263318936298?I´ve contacted the seller and told him that I was planning to use the compressor to fill a 15 liter bottle to at least 200bar, and asked for his opinion if the compressor was capable of this or if it only was suited for filling smaller bottles. The long filling time for a small compressore like this might end up overheating the compressor, or heating the bottle to the point that when it has cooled down after filling there isn´t very much pressure left in it. If it works for filling 10-15L tanks I am very interested in buying one, if it takes an hour or more to fill a tank doesen´t matter as long as it won´t get damaged from the long run times. Also, there seems to be a very wide range of stated L/min numbers, from like 45 to 100 even if the compressors look similar in the pics. Not easy to know if the numbers are legit or just pulled out of their hairy arses... /Anders

I'd probably look at adding a heat exchanger to it for longer run times, and maybe beefing up the main cooling fan.

Its name seems to be Yong Heng, knowing that there are lots of videos on the tube. This one shows a full size tank that the guy says can be filled without problems as long as the temps are within limits. This looks like a really good find, like a 1/10th of the cost for a larger china compressor and probably not that much slower. I´ll ask Santa for one. Cheers! /Anders

I´ve gotten some replies from the sellers and they do not recommend using this compressor for filling large tanks, not sure what to think of it since there are youtube videos of people who are doing just that. I have to think some more about this before ordering one, no rush since I won´t be needing it for another year or so. /Anders

yeah it might be good to add some cooling for large tanks - but chances are it will work ok. They're probably not industrial quality though
