A toroidal vortex is basically a smoke ring ( a donut shaped rolling vortex ). I am not showing any pictures of my flametube as I don't want my design to be plagiarised as I have had done to me before. All the engines that are made on this site are REAL jet engines. What you are referring to as a 'real' jet engine is classed as a commercial jet engine. Richard S. Hi, I designed the flametube to utilise a toroidal vortex in the primary zone to anchor and stabilise the flame in the primary zone, this is how I can make a compact short combustion chamber. Richard S. Im struggling to understand what you mean by that. Do you have any photos of yours or what you based your design off of? Ive been researching what "real" jet engine combustors look like... Infact ill post an interesting link. youtu.be/VyLM3x4qdcI

Couldnt think of a better term than "real". You obviously got what i meant, yeah commercial, mass produced. I made my own little engine, no offense intended.
And that is a shame you dont want to share. But fair enough, cool concept.
