Hey all! So glad to find this forum. Ive had a ton of fun messing with my model turbines, and im ready to combine my automotive building and jet engine love. Id like to find an engine that will either fit in an engine bay, with a gear reduced output shaft. Or a bigger engine like a J30 or J44 that could go in the bed of a pickup. Either is perfectly fine. Something needing work is ok, as im sure that will help keep me in budget. The closer to Eastern Utah the better!!
Thanks guys!!

I bought a small engine from seller 'bas-duffstuff' on eBay. They are based out of Greeley CO.

Ive seen his items as well, and have been keeping a close eye. Greely is definitely within driving distance. It almost seems that most of what he sells is either a cutaway trainer model, or something so far gone it isnt salvageable. Either way, i will keep an eye on his ebay for sure.

I have a Garrett GTCP 100-82 , good runner out of APU , a Lucas CR201 APU out of Harrier Jet and a RR Nimbus out of a South African Military Helicopter . The RR has logs and only 465hrs . It also has two output shafts (one with disc brake) which are geared to 2000rpm and it puts out btwn 750 and 1200HP. It is also Turboshaft so can be stopped without turning off engine. I also have two Garrett GTP 30's , one in the original genset , both runners. And a Williams W27 , low hours . Marshal drswami@earthlink.net
