Need a piece >10" long. Buying large diameter stainless pipe online in small lengths is way too expensive for me.
Edit: welded or seamless, any stainless alloy will work (preferably 304)

Hi Nick
Is it for the flametube or outer can ??
If for the flametube then its easier/cheaper to roll a piece of SS sheet and roughly tack together, but if for the outer can , just use mild steel tubing as it'll take the pressure .
I doubt you'll find 5.5" ID tubing , it'll be 6" OD
Cheers John

Didn't think I could use any steel for the housing, thanks for the tip! In terms of rolling a tube myself, I don't have a slip roll or access to one, might have to experiment with different bending techniques.

For the flametube I like to use 1.2 mm stainless sheet as its easy to TIG weld , even 0.5mm SS sheeting can be used , but for a 5.5" dia I'd be using at least 0.8 mm
