after many years of vaguely keeping an eye out for a hovercraft, I found one! It would be pretty interesting to drive it with some sort of turbofan - but the most likely conversion is probably electric, to quieten it down a bit. It currently runs a 35hp 430cc Cuyuna ultralight aircraft engine with a gear reduction to the combined lift / thrust fan. www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBjg_q8DHbA
