Hi guys,
The wheather is very nice. No wind, blue sky and -5°C.
What to do?
Yes, lets build some vehicle for the frozen lake, the "Steinhuder Meer"
It was fun and at the end 2 police ladys came across and had a talk with me. Nothing special, only some phone calls about a crazy guy, who is disturbing the Sunday silence😁

Hi Andy
LOL...............thank you for a good laugh , love the "handbrake" :-)
You'd get some serious speed up with the A/B at full noise .
Cheers John

Hi guys, I proudly present the new design and outfit of the "High Power Spaghetti Topf HPST 2020". The combustion chamber, shaft tunnel, ngv and shaft with turbine wheel are taken from the "old" version. Compressor wheel, intake, diffuser and the housing are new. Video will follow soon😉 Andy

Hi,
todays testrun was very good, except the laser tacho for rpm didnt work.
45Kg thrust 600° egt 1,8 Bar P2 140° T2 at 1,8 Bar P2
I guess it was in the 60 000- 63 000 rpm range.
Huh 😊
Will test again for rpm reading.

Hi Andy
Very encouraging numbers :-)
Still relatively "cool" at 600 C , potential for a tad of nozzle tightening maybe.
You've still got that last 10% of rpm where all the thrust is made , she's gunna make some noise :-)
Cheers John

Hi Andy. Impressive improvement.
Did you have to change both the compressor wheel (from the Mitsubishi TD 13 turbo you were using before) and the diffuser design as well to get to this point?
I guess you will be making another 5-10 kgs of thrust in the last 10% rpm.
Cheers.

Hi Patty,
I think the most important improvement is the bigger diffuser and housing diameter.
Now I use the HX 82 comp wheel 8+8 with 98,9mm inducer and 141mm exducer.
The diff wedge starts at 161mm diameter and the outer dia is 218mm.
The complete engine is 20mm more in diameter.

Hi, Some pics from P2, rpm, T2 and Egt. At 58 000 rpm 1,8 Bar P2 and almost 50 Kg thrust. I closed the nozzle some mm, but I think its too much. There are some rpm left, but the egt is much higher than before. On weekend, I will upload the new video👍😁 Andy
