Also got a new compressor wheel. A bit larger and 8+8 config. Its from a Mitsubishi TD 13 turbo. Andy

Hi Andy, nice work as always! I'm curious how the turbine runs, hopefully the system won't swing open because you use a diffuser with 12 blades and a compressor wheel with 8 blades and you make a symmetrical system. then would help a 13th diffuser blades. I have upscaled a GR180 turbine for comparison Cheers Ralph ps. was macht Skype?

Hi JATO,
the engine is ready for some noise again.
Took a while to collect all material, whats needed.
Subtitles available soon! Its always a mess to tell the youtube software, what to translate.
@ralph, Skype is still down.

Hi Patty
It can only be an efficiency thing if flow areas are the same , our radial stages can be a lot more efficient than 70% , I generally work on 80% when using a NGV stator.

Hi from Germany,
reshaped the diffuser again.
Now I try 15 wedges. Thats better using a 16 bladed comp wheel😉 It was a hard way to rebuild all wedges.
No machines anymore😤
So I made a matching piece of wood and casted it 15 times. After all holes drilled and surfaces sanded, filled all in between with hot candle wax. After cooling, I went to a friend and finished all in his lathe.
Tomorrow test run👍👍👍
Cheers Andy

Hi Jeff,
my airline decided to reducing our fleet from 39 aircraft to 22.
Also the hangar and all workshops will close in 2022.
So all machines, cars and material are already sold.
From my colleagues are only 20 still there. Me and ~40 more had to go.
But next year I will buy a good used lathe and a mill. So only 2,5 months to wait for a good money they will pay in December👍

Hi,
me again😁
Short update video from the todays video.
Still 7000 rpm to go, so there is space for some thrust😉

Hi Andy
Very respectable "numbers" :-)
That last 10% of RPM will see a big increase in pressures/thrust , ........ >50 kgs thrust ?? .
You should be very proud of your build , its doing what it should , a real credit to your perseverence .
Cheers John
