Decided that 1.4s between each spark wouldn't be good enough to guarantee ignition without a puddle of fuel (do not want to experience a runaway) so now it fires at 0.4s 😁 gfycat.com/fortunatecelebratedcoquiLooking good Ben!! Where did you get your spark gaps from?

Got most of my fittings for the fuel system, doesn't look so redneck engineering now 😂 not sure if I want the tests point that goes to the gauge before or after the pressure relief valve any thoughts? Also flipped the backplate and have started working on the rotary table side, turned the OD to 106mm. Need to bring the overall thickness down to 5mm (at 10ish currently) but shall leave a little spigot at 13.8mm dia which will locate it in the rotary table.

Slow process (getting motivated to do the job in a cold garage and fighting the controller overload which just LOVES to trip if you have a large diameter workpiece... Thankfully I found the pot to adjust the setting 😁) No. R29 is the adjustment, only turned it up a little as new board is £120 so don't want to fry it just yet. Ben

Took the 18mm compression to 1/2npt fitting and parted off the npt side, then bored out the compression side to 18mm so the bar which holds the nozzle can pass through and be adjusted in/out for the right spray location before being locked down and sealed. Will be welded to top of combustion chamber

Also finally aligned the tailstock. Used a 10mm endmill with the flutes chuck side so they're not gripped (long shank) and collet chuck on remaining shank side, tightened everything then slid tailstock onto collet chuck taper before clamping down the adjustment screws on the tailstock It's the little wins that count ha Ben

Cleaned up the grinder slots, lethal shavings Turned the wrong way at one point so nicked the rotary table unfortunately but barely noticeable. They're not all the same size but looks better than originally. Ben

<3 love the idea for the injector clamp. I have been thinking of how to do this as well. Steve

<3 love the idea for the injector clamp. I have been thinking of how to do this as well. Steve Thanks, should work well as allows me to position the spray to hit the primary holes perfectly and then locks it in place whilst sealing it. Plus if I ever need to disassemble it all I have to do is undo the nut and pull it out. The nozzle will be screwed onto a 18mm bar which will have a hole drilled through and the fuel line on the opposite end. Ben

I was thinking of using an existing swage as well. McMaster is just down the street here and we get scheduled delivery from them daily .

That's lucky, wish we had something like them or princess auto in the UK, would make life so much easier for us hobbyists
