Thanks Cullen. Nice one. Have you got a pic of the complete machine? Thanks. Steve.

Not yet steve. I’ve been plagued by delays and back orders so I won’t have this machine up and running for a while. It’s slow progress but slow progress ain’t a problem with me. Cullen

Improved starting:
After learning to add air LAST, it was starting about 1 in 2 attempts.
So I increased the spark gap and brought the lpg nozzle further in, ie closer to the spark plug. So far 100% starting success! Just a little pop and then add 100% air and increase fuel. Takes about 30 seconds to fully spool up and self-sustain. Then can remove the blower and away she goes. Very satisfying.
LPG nozzle is a stainless 1/4” hose barb, with the end welded shut and 6 x 2mm holes drilled radially.
Minor improvements only as I don’t have a workshop atm. Satisfying though.
Cheers. Steve.

Hey guys what kind of cool down phase do you employ? I run the blower through it for about 10 minutes and then 5 minutes of oil pump on.
Is this overkill? Thanks. Steve.

Yeh , a bit of overkill
Keep the blower and oilpump on until your jetpipe temps are down to ~300-400 deg C , you shouldn't need any more than 5 minutes
Cheers John
