So I’m in the military and I work at a testing facility for the harrier turbofan engines. We use a fuel oil cooler on the engine to preheat the fuel and cool the oil. Has anybody tried to make one for their engines?

Has anybody tried to make one for their engines? Yes did it on the twin scrole engine Nic Hadock made, just used a plate heat exchange unit, plenty about for bike and cars that can be used with some moding But we used the afterburner fuel line as cooling fuel, the flow of fuel in a lot of our engines would not do much to cool the oil, but i guess in some cases it would help All The Best Andy
