Hi Racket. I am not able to see any alignment locators between the two split pieces of the impeller. The rear internal spline seems integral part of the turbine wheel whereas there is a shaft press fitted on the exhaust side of the impeller. I still cannot find if that big chunk of metal with curvic coupling on the exhaust side is integral part of the turbine or no. Some more pictures for your reference. I am not sure how these split impellers are assembled. Thanks

Hi Patty
Is that a small "pin" inboard of the curvic on the exhaust side ??
Looks like the curvic and exducer are a single piece .

Hi Racket.
Yes there are 2 pins inboard of the curvic. I think that shaft will come out eventually.
I also think the exhaust and the coupling are a single piece. I don’t know if I can machine it.
I still don’t know how these are joint?
Thanks

Hi Patty
You may need to "machine" using a cutoff disc , though the exducer and curvic could be made from a "softer??" material than the main wheel section due to its lower stresses.
Those couple of pins might need removing before disassembly , perhaps the shaft can then be screwed out ...........don't know for sure , just guessing :-)
Cheers John
