My compressor housing is stamped A/R.55 Is that ok? I get about 7lbs. of boost. My engine runs good but hot.

Don't be concerned about comp housing A/Rs , they are matched to the wheel .................its the turbine stage connected at the other end of the shaft that dictates things .
When you say "hot" .............what temperature ??
Do you have a jetnozzle installed ??
Cheers John

Yes I have a jet nozzle with the outlet the same diameter as the inducer inlet. My thermal couple broke so no idea. Should the turbine housing be glowing red?

No, that's too much of a restriction and causing damage it shouldn't glow that much.
You should NOT run the engine without some way to measure the exhaust temperature or you risk destruction

There is no real way of calculating it (I'm sure john will be along soon to correct me) but I believe you just start with a straight pipe and slowly restrict it till the temperature doesn't get hotter than 750°c at full throttle for safety reasons. The smaller the restriction the greater the back pressure and higher the temperature

Hi
Is it a dull dark red or a bright pink colour ??
A jet nozzle the same diameter as your comp wheel's inducer shouldn't be a problem , what sizes are your wheels ?
Cheers John

The housing is a dull red and the turbine is red/orange. The compressor is 2.35 INCHES at the minor diameter and 3.4 INCHES at the major diameter. my fuel nozzle should be in the middle of the primary hole pattern?
