Yea it seems huge, i was hoping that in the future if i find a bigger diesel turbo with a 3" inducer diameter that i could still get away with using this same can, this engine is a 2.5" and the ft is 5" and outcan 7" i hope this doesnt mean it will eat more fuel like this, or maybe its the same as a smaller can givin the size of the engine is what might make the diff in more fuel consumption idk

Nope , it won't burn more fuel , fuel burn is dependant of airflow rate and design turbine inlet temperature

So i went and tried to start it using the air from a weak little vacuum pump, wasnt spoolin up to fast, all i got was some loud bangs that blew the hose off that i connected at intake, im just hopin that its because its not spoolin up fast enough, i gotta leaf blower but need a second person to hold the leaf blower, the spark plug ignites well.

Do you have a large workshop vac that can supply air ??
For a turbo of your size a vac exhaust is possibly better than a leafblower .

Nice ill get a shopvac than, man i miss living in the country, id have this up and running in no time, but here in the city where i live people have no idea what this contraption is other than possibly a bomb or flame thrower. im kinda scared to start it after it was making all those loud booms, sounded like im playing with a loud potato cannon or somethin, i hope this was just all due to the turbine not beiing spooled fast enough, i think the shop vac hose might even be a perfect fit so it will stick on to the front and wont have to hold anything, if i had a proper ignition source id have another hand available but with this bbq click ignitor i got one hand using that and one controlling propane, makes it allot more difficult by yourself.

If you've got a petrol mower or trimmer or something.... I would really try the spark thing I said about.
Obviously it just sparks non stop by itself and is a big fat spark.
