I'm no expert but below are a couple pictures of my injector. Tubing was 1/2" diameter and 1/16" thick. Mostly for convenience as that is what I have a lot of here, and drilling in tube smaller than 1/2" sounds like a pain. I think it was 8 holes, 1/16" diameter possibly? Located where my primary holes are. I left some extra length on the tube in case I needed to modify it, and the end is just welded shut. My jet also uses the $100 ebay T3/T4 turbo, FYI. Thanks, Did you end up welding the flame tube to the piece on the second picture? I originally planed to do that but it looks like it would interfere with unscrewing the fuel injector?

My flame tube is a separate piece that slides into the chamber. The end flange (with injector threaded on the inside) bolts onto the assembly and holds the flame tube in place. Another way to mount an injector is to have it thread in from the outside, where the injector portion slides into the threading before being tightened down (not sure if I'm explaining this well). I would have done it this way but since I have separate end flanges to pull out the flame tube, threading it on the inside was no problem since it has to be unbolted periodically anyways. Here's a few pics of the flame tube being slid into the engine and fully installed into the engine. The end flange would be bolted down once it is installed to hold it in place:

That makes a lot more sense. I think I'll go with threading in the injector from the outside, it would be a lot easier at least for me to get a good seal with the flame tube. Ohh ok, thanks. I've just finished building the test bench frame and now am building the combustion chamber, and have come up upon a few questions 1. Does the assembly need to be grounded because of the spark plug? I'm using some extra high-voltage generators from another project. The spark plug only has a live connection so I assume that the ground would have to be wired to the entire assembly. I'll be using a battery and buck converter to power the HV generator. 2. Are gaskets needed for the combusion chamber?

Grounding is important .
Gaskets only needed if the surfaces aren't flat , you'll need one at the turbo scroll foot , a proper metal gasket .

Would I directly ground by connecting the negative of the battery like a car or create a small grounding plate? Would the voltage difference from the HV generator and battery cause any problems? I'm using lipo batteries.
Grounding has always been something that I'm confused about and I can't seem to find much about how to ground small projects.

You'll need to do whatever is required to allow the device to perform as it should
