Well the project is definitely still on but it has taken me to the brink of insanity and back.

The nozzle is starting to look more like one now. I started the first step of the boring out today. Put a 20mm MT3 drill in up to the throat section. Boring bar comes next.

This just arrived. It's 6082 T6. There is a combustion chamber in there somewhere.

You might remember some time back my post about cooling calculations. I put a similar one on my blog, too.

I'm now looking at using Nusselt numbers to calculate the heat transfer coefficients of this new design.

I also want to use a cross flow of coolant over the throat region that will increase heat transfer.
