That's ok mate, as these units a very rare the only info i got was Garrett Turbine Engine company were testing the combustors, but one of them is a demonstrator and the other is contract so they must of built a number of these units, what they were use for i have no idea maybe use as a APU ? It has a butterfly valve underneath the comp elbow use for high pressure air or use as a fogger? LOL when time permits will start working on them and get them up and running,

As my mate Andre was working on the GTP i ask him if he could work out the electrical wring on the GTC20 engine and here is the electrical schematic drawings he made up. Cheers, mark.

Did you get it working again? It looks alot like what I am starting to build. A turbine with bleed air.

G'day, No not yet, working on some other projects at the moment. I did a bit of work on it last year, fit some pressure gauges and did test the pumps and igniter all working and had to shop around a bit to find a canon plug, so I'm always looking out for parts for this project and my other projects when i have most of the parts then i start to work on them.

Hi Mark,
Did you happen to get the compressor inducer and turbine exducer diameters? It would be interesting to see what area ratio Garrett used for this application.

Hi Tony, No i haven't pulled apart the turbo to get any diameters. Here is a photo with some part numbers on the turbo it may help you out Cheers, Mark.

have you had a chance to check out the flame tube design? its such a short combustion chamber compared to our home made designs!
