This is a strange one :-( ....................normally with a decent sized combustor such as you have and using propane with an injector having radial holes only , the engine would normally work straight off....................it does sound like the turbo components could be too mis matched .
Could you please try again to post pics of your bits and pieces , there might just be something we've missed .

Hi John, yes yes it's been ages but I'm back on this topic of getting my own Gt up and running.... As I said in my last post the turbo I have been using has had it and seeing that u said that the miss matched compressor/turbine combo I have could present it's problems I have been shopping around for a similar sized turbo that may be better suited to this application.
If u don't mind, I'm in the USA at the moment and thought I might get something over here, can u look through these specs 4 me n tell me if its what I'm looking for or if not what would be something I'm looking 4. Description: T3T4 turbo .50ar (quick spool)
Intake: 3 inch Inlet: 2 inch Compressor trim: .50 Compressor Wheel diameter: 53.87 / 76.58 Turbine Wheel diameter: 56.41 / 64.93 Exhaust Trim: .50 Turbine flange type : T3 flange Down pipe flange type: 4 bolt flange Cooling type: oil cool only Horsepower rating: 350hp I was hoping to use this with my current setup just do the necessary mods and see how I go! Any help would be great.... Thnx Nick

Hi Nick
Those "hybrid" T3/T4 units have "oversized" compressor wheels compared to the turbine wheel , not a good match :-(
Ideally we need a turbine exducer area ~15-20% bigger than the comp inducer area , this turbo is only ~9% , you'll probably run into surge problems if you try to use a jetnozzle with increased exhaust temperatures .
I'd be persevering with your original engine at this stage .

Hey, great to hear that, it gives me a idea of what I'm looking for.
I can't really do anymore with the turbo I have coz it's getting extremely worn out to the point that the shaft moves so much it rubs on the housing...
