Nice one Andy! Did you notice any change in temps when you fitted the intake screen?

Hi Anders no not really , it tuck an age to work out the free hole area of the mesh ....... around the side as it came off the old rover unit, the bit on the front is new and luckily they had the ratio of free area in the book you new engine is looking good Johns has turned out so brilliant :-) All best Andy

Thanks!
That is great news, I will most likely add an intake screen on JU-02 to avoid FOD and with the removal of the large air intake box I should have plenty of room for an oversized intake screen.
Cheers! /Anders

Good one Andy , sounding sweet , love the spoolup :-) Cheers John Hi John Thanks, yep i real happy with it..... the time and pain all worth it now ...lol :-) just got to up date software that controls the starter motor, my friend has written code for a timer so the starter turns its self off, one less thing to worry about on the start line Another thing i was pleased with was how well the clutch coped, its tied into the p2, gave the engine a handful of throttle, and its reaction was wonderful, no hot spikes, just smooth as and at 10 psi the clutch closed :-) thank you John for your support, and all the guys..... i guess we all have days with our projects when we sit thinking why did i ever :-)

Nice smooth take-up of power Andy...there should be plenty of torque available for you when needed. It's getting quite exciting now. Well done Sir.
Cheers, Smithy.

Hi Andy
Ah , now thats better , another dozen of those and you'll be wanting more power than the 9/94 can provide ;-)
LOL, .......... finally a sunny day to do the testing , all looking good for some serious drag strip work, congratulations.
Cheers John

What sort of torque and HP are we talking about with the 9/94 John..? I suspect the torque end result is dependent on final gearing etc.
Cheers, Smithy.

Hi Smithy Horsepower should end up at 150 , maybe a bit more as I design conservatively ;-) Theres a dyno chart of Andrews 10/98 engine with the same TV94 compressor as Andy's 9/94 engine so HP performance should be roughly the same, torque might be a bit different due to the gearing. Dyno run was at 25psi P2 postimg.org/image/4g1ghuvct/Cheers John
