Hi John, I decided to by pass the chemical dryer chamber and this has made a big impovement, it took ~14 mins to fill the last 1,000 PSI air pressure in the tank so very happy now :-))))) The filter in the chamber was halfway through its life as you can see in the photos when that strip goes to a tan clour it's finish and will take longer to fill a scuba tank and i don't think i need to dry the air as i wont be breahing the air. secound vid youtu.be/SSefoD_NJ-k Cheers, Mark.. Good job Mark! I have a scuba compressor that takes almost forever to fill a scuba tank with, perhaps I should try to bypass the dryer just to see if fill time improves. Or is it a bad idea with steel tanks? I am thinking about rust forming on the inside... /Anders

Hi Anders, Thanks mate, yeah i have a 18 liter steel tank as well but have seen a alloy tank cut in half and the wall thicknesses is ~16mm so maybe the steel ones are the same wall thicknesses and would take many years before they crack? ?. And opening the consaion drain valve at 5 min intervals may help eliminate the amount of water in the tank??? It would be worth a try on your compressor and see what happens if that improves the fill up time maybe change the filter? Cheers, Mark..

Hi Chris, Your right there mate when i got a compressed air bottle for testing the JFS it cost me $100 for a bottle plus rent and maintenance fees WTF! this is from industrial gas supplies who think they are GOD. The compressor looks well built, i was told these were made back in the 60s. There are some on ebay at the moment 251402129756 161186023267 230736060137 LOL i don't know what the burst pressure for a scuba tank is? Cheers, Mark..

Yes will need to use the correct cap stater for the electric motor as we have 240V here in AUS. Got the motor from the USA and is a 34,000 RPM motor i start the motor by hand at the momemt.
Cheers, Mark.

Hello all. I am looking for a Cornelius 3000PSI drier housing exactly like the one shown in the post namely 3370300-1.
If the complete housing is not available i need the screw off top to install a new filter.
It must include the Teflon ring seal that is under the 226 O'ring.
Shipping would be to the USA.
Thanks!
