Yep , its taken a while but better late than never , well the first order that was sent by Post never arrived , so this was the second order via couriers , I only started my search for a supplier before Christmas , so >3 months to get the supply chain sorted .
Will do some testing on the tube over the weekend by making up some evaps , hopefully its nicely annealed and the bellmouthing is uneventful, the seam weld is nice and clean both OD and ID , if all OK I'll order some more to put in the stockpile if needed at any time , unfortunately they only do 3/8" and 1/2" dia at 0.6mm WT .
Cheers John

Hi Guys
Received a second shipment of tubing today , 6 metres of 3/8" and 6 metres of 1/2" Inco tubing, plenty in the stockpile if anyone needs some .
The supply chain has now been well sorted , they sent it Friday , I received it Monday , with excellent Tracking by the Courier Company.
Now all I've gotta do is get my ass into gear and do some work in my shed, but its still too hot , its been a long summer :-(
I've been able to make up 18 new 1/2" evap tubes ( 105 mm long) , with "square springs" fitted , all mounted in a jig with the flametube back wall plate ready for silver soldering ...........its been there for weeks ...........gotta just do it, instead of going fishing out on the breakwall where the breeze is cool :-)
Cheers John

Hi Guys Well I finally got into gear and silver soldered the new tubes into the flametube end wall ,............. also added a heap of small cooling holes to help keep the heat off it when the engine starts to get those T I Ts up. The wooden jig for positioning the tubes with a slight inward angle worked OK , even if a tad smoky at times Maybe this image will come through , dunno , its shitting me off postimg.cc/image/58hopugzv/49d69848/Cheers John

Hi John, Looking good, yeah the image came through. I still need to work out how to have a thumbnail image and still have the option to enlarge the image when the mouse is position onto the thumbnail image.
Cheers, Mark.

Hi Mark
LOL , you know how computer illiterate I am, its so frustrating ............I have enough trouble remembering how to get the pics out of my camera and onto Desktop :-(
The silver soldering of the new tubes did warp the backwall a bit , but it screwed down onto its NGV mount sorta OK , a couple of spoolups should relieve any stresses and straighten things out .
Cheers John

Hi Guys
Engine finally reassembled and mounted up .
Did an air impingement test using the workshop's air comp at 110 psi , dismal failure as it only produced ~1,000 rpm and that was without any oil pressure , its going to need the scuba tank .
I'll get all the ancillaries tested out and recharge the batteries after their 4 month summer break , then it'll be time to load her on the trailer :-)
Cheers John
