Azwood, You could easily run a whole series of meth injection tests on your cart. Run test, gather data and have a ton of fun with it at the same time. Probably even piss off the neighbors at the same time with all the jet noise ripping up and down the street too. Haha already pissed off my neabors with it and all the bikes well on one side the other cums over and halps😋

I´ve started making a new battery box for my LiFe battery, it is a bit larger than the old battery which I modeled the rear fairing around so it is a bit tight but doable. Hopefully the 24v converter for the oil pump can be fitted on the underside of the battery box, I´ll find out this weekend. Cheers! /Anders

Only a couple of kgs, it is very lightweight compared to a lead battery.

More work today, I made a side wall on the battery box and I am pretty satisfied with the result. I just have to insulate it a bit to avoid vibration damage to the battery. I also fitted the 24V converter to the underside of the battery box, I´ll add a small heat shield between it and the jet exhaust later. When the Swedish Eurovision final started I poured me a whiskey grog and fled to the workshop for two hours of death metal and pump placement. The oil pressure pump found a good home just behind the front wheel. The oil entry end exit comes through the air intake shield, a pair of 90° bends for the AN hoses and this will be the most compact solution I can think of. It took me a while to figure out where to place the scavange pump and the fuel pump, I didn´t want to squeeze them into some tight spot where it will be a rat nest of cables and hoses when I have everything hooked up. Eventually I figured out that placing them on top of the frame will be best, I have good access to them both visually and mechanically and I´ll fit a removable sheet metal cover on top that will act as the chest rest, I can also fit the PWM controller boxes on it. Cheers! /Anders

Looking more like a running bike every day haha nothing like some loud music to get you motivated just watch how many whiskys you have while you're doing it.there's an optimum amount to producing good work and well we know what happens past that.lol you get what was I thinking the next day while scratching you're head.keep it up you're doing a great job.i still have the drag bike sitting in the shed I need to set that up for land speed like yours.

Yes it is starting to look like something that might actually start and run. No worries, when I do any of the more critical jobs I only drink coffee, I would never forgive myself if I fucked anything up on the bike while being drunk. You really need to get the drag bike up and running, great to have more turbine bikes here at JATO! Cheers! /Anders

azwood, here in the Midwest of the United States lathes are readily available for cheap. Mills are harder to find.
Thanks, Ron

I started making the chest rest/pump cover today, I think it will add more "bike look" to the bike since it will look somewhat like an old school fuel tank. The lines add up, sweet! Cheers! /Anders
