The Omron sensor is an open collector output, you want to connect a 10k or so resistor from the brown to black leads and measure your output from black to blue. The blue lead will then go low whenever the output is active, connect to a digital in. According to what you have said- Below is the wiring diagram for the sensor as to what i have understood. Please tell me if everything is alright here. Position of resistor etc. Thanks.

That should work, if no try feeding the resistor from the +5V on your NI board rather than the Vcc for the e3x-a21. You can also try adding a low pass filter on the input for your pressure transducer, something like a 10k resistor and a .33uF ceramic cap might be a good start. Pressure transducer -> analog in

I tried doing it the way i had drawn earlier. The thing is the device is working on both analog and digital inputs. I was able to generate a square wave from both digital and analog inputs. And lastly as i had worked on analog inputs, i simply generated the wave from the analog input( a variable frequency square wave) and simply measured the frequency of it. Frquency x 60 = rpm Is everything right here? Thanks.

That should work, the NI boards I've used in the past have been pretty forgiving.
