Hi Guys.
We have what appears to be a new or rebuilt Boeing T50 where the grease they used for assembly has dried out and the turbine won't rotate.
Has anyone encountered this problem ?
Thanks.
Mark

I would probably try to carefully warm it up with a fan heater or heat gun (or leave it in the sun depending on where you are) and then very carefully try to turn the rotor slowly by hand.

Is the grease a storage/anti-corrosion grease, like cosmoline? If so, you could try to wash it off/out with kerosene.
Good luck,
Chris

Mark,
I am pretty familiar with the Boeings. Feel free to contact me and we can see what we can do.
