Excellent. Two thumbs up. 83 MPH is very fast for a cart that size. How did the cart stability feel? Actually really stable didn't think I went as fast as I did untill I checked the GPS. What would make it more stable? -Gavin

Hi Gavin
GPS "max speed" readouts aren't always "reliable" ...... better to measure out a distance with markers and stopwatch the run through them if you want to be certain of the speeds, we've seen some "doubtful" speeds over the years by fairly small engines , though yours is probably quite capable of that speed .
Cheers John

Cheers John Thank you John I'll probably try that. I do have plans for a speed sensor on the kart so I know for sure, but I am fairly confident in the speed. The speed was consistent through the few runs I did. -Gavin

Hi Gavin
Yeh , your engine should be able to achieve that sort of speed, and after a few runs at consistent readings you should be fairly confident its ballpark :-)

If the GPS speed app has a graph display mode you can see if there are any weird spikes in the trace, but assuming it's smooth, GPS speed should be pretty accurate.

It should be easy enough to calibrate/compare against the speedometer when driving in your car.

Hi guys just wanted to show you the video I made from my run this weekend. Got her up to 80mph she ran great. Definitely time for more power ie A/B. Any one know the best way to get the dimension for the A/B combustor. youtu.be/fDe_yJz1I7s
