Hi,
Check out the "Small Aircraft turboprop build - potential heat exchanger" thread.
From 2017, so it's not that old. Jetbeetle sells a 90mm NGV and wheel and at least Horace replies to emails.
Regards
Jeff

Hi,
If my memory serves me correctly, the guy in the thread got a NGV from Yili that had a small dent in it. All pictures from old threads are long gone, so it's hard to say.
If you do deal with Yili, I'd get detailed pictures of the product first before they ship it.

I think my first option will be Horace, much better support, as well as offers other stuff gt related (fuel pump for example). Probably also easier to deal with if needing a custom part made. I need a 190mm freepower wheel that spins opposite direction of the allison 3rd stage for my turbo shaft project.

So getting ahold of Horace is proving to be just as difficult. Ive emailed 3 times, does anyone know him or know of a better way to get ahold of him? Im interested in his 130mm wheel.

Hi,
I think he travels quite a bit and he is trying to establish a U.S. distributor/repair center. It may take some time due to the holidays, but he has replied.

Hi Joe, I think your name is Joe, not 100% sure. Have you thought of making a turbine wheel and NGV? A cast set in the size you're looking for has got to cost quite a bit. Money for me is kind of tight since AT&T surplused me and I'm making about 1/3 the salary now (the money tree I had in my backyard shriveled up and died,,,LOL). Here is a pic of the new wheel for my old build. Regards Jeff

Hey jeff,
Yep, it's Joe lol. The problem with making a wheel is it sacrifices some strength. Which is ok if you want to have an engine that runs and makes some residual thrust. My problem is this engine is going to be pushed, and is going into a bike that will be driven, so needs to last longer than 25-50 hours.
Ive actually messaged Monty to see what he knows about casting. It might work better to design my own wheel and have it casted. It's not the cheapest way, but might be the best option in the end, if the price isn't horrendous. Some places want $30k for making molds. My thought is to 3d print the wheel in wax, and then go from there.
