I'm looking into making a jet pipe/nozzle for my 32mm inducer jet engine build as a jump off into building an afterburner eventually. Bending steel into good nozzle shapes seems tricky, as I don't have a sheet metal roller (let alone one that supports cones), and cutting thin triangles out of pipe and bending it into a cone sounds very tedious. I found some stainless steel reducers on eBay that look perfect for the job. Does anyone have experience using these for nozzles? Or see potential issues with this approach? Seems like it would be fairly straight forward to cut the ends off the cone to get the desired hole sizes and weld it up. examples: www.ebay.com/itm/151847673295www.ebay.com/itm/113939741122
