Hi Anders LOL............just hook up the plumbing ;-) Cheers John Hi John, I was tempted for a split second to do just that, but I think I will do this the proper way after all with bench testing, modifying et cetera until it is ready to hit the road. Cheers! /Anders

Hi Anders,
I'm not much for words or blowing sunshine but you have an incredible gift. Your work is mind blowingly inspirational. I'll be following.
This forum is blessed to have a Tony Stark (Anders) and a Howard Hughes (John) for everyone to watch and learn from.

Tony Hi Tony, Thank you very much, I am not sure that I agree on the gift part except for being stubborn and single minded (ask my Anna about it... ) but I am glad that what I do is inspiring. That is the beauty with forums like this one, we contribute and learn from each other with no strings attached. As soon as there is money involved people close up like clams about what they know but since all we do here is spend hard earned money on a fun hobby there is nothing to lose by sharing our ideas and thoughts with others. Cheers! /Anders

After a great Easter weekend with the family I managed to get some work done on the test stand, I borrowed a magnet drill from work to drill bolt holes in the someday-to-be fan dyno stand. Here the test stand is bolted in place. I need to add a rear bracket but I can do that later, I drilled a bolt hole for it while I had the magnet drill at home. Cheers! /Anders

Hi Anders
Now thats a solid "lump" to bolt it to , no worries about it sliding away on full throttle
LOL, you'll be able to hide behind the fans casing for protection when she starts to scream her head off ;-)
Cheers John

Hi Anders; Nice job, am speechless.
About my first love (JU-01) is it not possible to just get a starter motor for for it? So that you dont depend on air that always want to break my heart.
I remember you mountings the starter motor earlier on her. Hahahahaha I wont even think twice to hook up the plumbing and hear her scream.

Hi Anders,
I would need to make a 3D printed copy of compressor blade I have fallen in love with. Can I get a precision drawing from kts or any dealer that I may buy it from for 3D printing without having to 3D scan?
Thanks

John: If JU-02 starts pushing itself forward now I must have plenty of thrust... Skynet: I planned to make an electric starter for JU-01 but since the air start works so well I decided to save the starter for JU-02 instead. I have a 3D scanned file of the KTS X846 compressor, if you want to I can upload it on Onedrive and send you the link. Andy: Thanks!

I want to 3d print the compressor wheel. Cheers. Here is the link to the 3D scanned compressor wheel file, the bottom isn´t flat so I had to lower the part into the print table a couple of mm´s in the slicing program to be able to print it without supports. 1drv.ms/u/s!Al-NA61DKl01gnoXzPq9OeXRlATb Cheers! /Anders

I hooked JU-02 up to the bike oil pump today, I use a separate scavenge pump to simplify things a bit. It works just fine with not a single drop of oil coming out the engine cover drain. Sweet! Cheers! /Anders
