Hi all,
After sitting collecting dust for 9 months I took the jetbike to a local classic car show for charity yesterday to do some running displays. With the heatwave and dry grass, the local council outlawed engine running 24 hours before due to fears of a fire on the green, despite dozens of emails, me bringing fire extinguishers, metal plate for under the bike, Wetted ground and hose nearby, signage, the local fire station 100m away, public liability insurance of 2 million etc.
Luckily the organisers granted me permission to do two fireups on the trailer in the evening and I reckon there might be one or two kids who would now like to build a jet engine of their own!
Video below:
Cheers

Hi Scott
Yep , some happy kids :-)
Your grass reminds me of here in Oz , what happened to green England .
Such a nice tidy build , very professional demo :-)
Cheers John

Many thanks John!
It’s been an incredibly dry month or so with a heatwave and barely any rain, I quite like it though - less lawn mowing and good for outside activities!
Cheers

Hi All, A rather professional production below, after a little fireup earlier this year. It was nice to give the engine a bit of boost again Cheers Scott

Happy Christmas All!!!
I had a successful jetbike fireup after having to make an entire new ECU with upgrades high side driver PWM design, also had to replace the relay boards and build a new ignitor box - All of which seems to have taken a hilariously long 4 months to complete. She’s running happily again 😁
Cheers Scott
