The JU-01 engine is for sale!

Hi guys!

After pushing the JU-01 engine to its limits and a bit further still I ran a 306km/h top speed at the one mile race last summer. Since I will spend all my effort on getting JU-02 up and running I have no real use for the JU-01 engine so I figure I might as well pass it on to someone that has more use for it. I feared that the engine would be damaged by the hot last run but after disassembly I could find nothing wrong with it.



I have had my thoughts about building an afterburning engine out of JU-01, but after giving it some thought I came to the conclusion that it would take like 200 years before I would have time to do anything with it...



So, if you are interested in a well known and proven gas turbine engine in the 700-800N thrust region (haven´t really measured it) here is you chance. I´ll add a spare TV94 compressor wheel that I bought just in case.



All bids over 1500 euros are considered and every single dime will be reinvested in the new JU-02 engine and will help make the bike a true world record contender.

Edit: Had to ask him first, it is Stoffe64 who bought it. It feels great that the JU-01 gets a second chance of being useful instead of just collecting dust on a shelf in my workshop!

Thanks, OH wow, well first to get it running again.... Might be some service before that and get to know it and its behaviours.... Then maybe develop it to an afterburning engine.... How much thrust out of this one With afterburner?
