John, do you think azwood's external fuel manifold would work for propane and natural gas? I have in mind stainless steel injectors drilled like our vertical injector. What would the insertion depth need to be?
Thanks, Ron

Hi Ron
I might need a bit more info about what you're proposing , generally for gasious fuels you don't need any sort of preheating unless its liquid .
Cheers John

John, I am thinking about adding a reheater inline between the gasifier and the power turbine to get more power. The external manifold would keep the fuel nozzle out of the hot exhaust from the gasifer turbine. Fuel would be propane or natural gas.
Thanks, Ron

Hi Ron
You won't need to burn much fuel to restore temperatures, so a fairly crude fuel "distributor" made from a length of small diameter stainless tube with a number of small holes in it will do the job , or maybe something similar to the average afterburner sprayer .
I'm imagining you'll need some sort of "flametube" in the interstage ducting to separate your Primary "gases" from the Dilution gases , so a very crude bit of tube fitted through the upstream end , with half a dozen radial holes in it will be enough to serve as a fuel "nozzle", if its all stainless it'll cope with the temps even when theres no fuel cooling .
Cheers John

John, thanks. My current fuel nozzle is similar although it is brass. Do you have a picture of an afterburner sprayer?
Thanks again, Ron
