Im looking for someone who can help me build a 6 stage axial engine. If you're interested in building a true 6 stage axial flow with afterburners I will pay. I'm looking to get a 1/2 scale F-18E/F created.

LOL.................you'll need VERY deep pockets , cheaper to simply buy a time expired aero engine .

I'm looking to get a 1/2 scale F-18E/F created. Maybe you should outline your project a little more in detail: What kind of thrust are you expecting, what's the weight limit of the engine and so on. For a one-off project, I'ld definitely go for a (modified) ex-aviation powerplant. The gas generator of a Rolls Royce gnome makes a pretty nice turbojet in the 4kN thrust class. I could also imagine that around the axial compressor section of a GTD350 helicopter engine, one could design a pretty decent thrust engine producing in the ballpark of 1.5kN of thrust. A (proper) reheat (afterburner) will complicate things a lot since this requires an adjustable thrust nozzle. Anyway, as racket told you already, having someone capable to do that for you will cost a pretty amount of money, not even considering the expenses for all the metalwork and prototyping. The figures will easily end up in the six-digit range. Maybe looking out for a used Microturbo TRI-60 engine would be a more sensible approach. Cheers, Thomas

[br Do you Know of any resources who could help me build a replica model engine for my 1/2 scale F-18E, F-22, F-15E and F-16 which will be built by a company in Europe. I'm looking for resources that really could help me in this situation I have investors.

Cheers, Thomas Thanks for your response to my post, that's very needed information. Hopefully if my investors help me find a model engine builder we can avoid plan B. Not saying plan B isn't a good idea and good on your pockets but what if my investors don't Care?

Hi
You won't be needing a MODEL engine builder, you need a full blown aero engine manufacturer if you're looking to have this a Certified man carrying powerplant .
The cost of developing a bespoke 6 stage axial compressor stage is going to be huge.
Does this engine need to be axial compressor'ed ?
How much thrust are you requiring ??
Cheers John

from the various other posts I get the impression they're trying to build a half scale plane which will be flown remotely with VR goggles.
So it shouldn't need as much certification, but then it also makes no sense to build a half scale plane rather than something much smaller.

LOL, a remotely piloted plane is called a cruise missile :-) ...............mmmmm , a short life engine required .

This jet will not be flown by a man, no sir it's an RC Project for people who want to learn how to operate a real jet. I will tell you more about my project once I fully get a patent.

Why not use an off the shelf RC jet plane? A bit cheaper to replace as well when the guy wanting to learn how to fly jet planes rams it 5 feet into the ground.

I have a A/B with tail feathers and operators. Needs repair (dent in the tube) if interested. It was for a J85 Series.
