Hi, as some of you may have noticed my gas generator is nearly ready for adding a freepower, I want to make some more tests before going that way. I will use it for the tests but this is not the topic here. I have done some research, but did not find any comprehensive information. So I would like to ask anyone that has tested some injection of non combustible liquids. How did it turn out? What are the pros and cons?
Thanks in advance! Best regards Dominik

Hi Dominik
"Non combustable liquids" ............I gather you are thinking about water injection to increase power ...............you live in a "cold" climate , so water injection wil be of limited value .
Your turbine wheel is already a bit marginal with regards flow from the comp , any extra "fluid" will need flow area to exit the engine , you don't have spare area .
Generally its a lot of work for small returns, just extra complication you don't need at this time .
Cheers John

Hi, I wondered if I can get some lower temperatures by water injection and if this would give new problems with oxidation temperature shocks, etc...
Regards Dominik

Hi Dominik
Lower temperatures mean less power , water will produce them ................in your situation I wouldn't consider using water
