Hi all, I think I've arrived at the optimal design for the FT - I've taken into account the guidance from Johns earlier comments and also from the design tips thread - I might try and run the propane through the same nozzle, dual fuel style - only for starting of course.

Hi
Don't try and use the one nozzle for two applications , you'll have problems at the fuel changeover...............LOL, at least I did :-(
Cheers John

I was about to start devising a solution involving check valves, then just decided to pop another hole in the end plate for the gas inlet and keep things normal.....! BTW I'm not planning to weld my FT to the end cap, but to instead use another slip ring like at the other end so I can remove the cap and easily service the nozzle.

I have managed to find a local suppler selling the 12V UP12 for GBP220 inc taxes and shipping, which is roughly EUR250... I think I’ll bite the bullet....

That is a really good price, I seem to remember that I payed like 400 euros for my pump when I bought it. I have to sell mine for a bit over 100 euros to match that and I rather keep it for future projects then, so bite the bullet!
