Hello all, i just added a new engine to my gas turbine collection a Tiernay TT10 with only 5 hours on it, main thing i need to know is how much oil will it hold, it was drained for shipping and i have no idea how much oil to order. second thing i would like to buy a shop manual for this engine or even a copy of one would be fine if any one know where to get one. I tried Essco manuals no luck. Thanks David

Nice find, David! This one comes closest to an engine shop manual of all the docs that I've got on the MEP362 genset trailer: www.turbinemuseum.de/files/060188.pdfP.S. I'll take it off my server in a few days due to space constraints. Cheers, Thomas

Hi David, I have a TT-10 as well it's a really nice little APU but for some reason mine tends to compressor stall when the ambient air temp drops below around 12 deg C...runs great during summer!
Got any plans for it as in powering something or just to run?
Cheers Rene

Meant to add I have all manuals for this APU ... 4 in total including IPB. Can't see how to attach them here but can email to you if you wanted? Cheers Rene

Hope all is well & did you ever sell that J44? You were having high EGT readings upon starting, as I remember. 1300 is definitely too high; I think the manual states 850 C for 8 seconds, max. Mine never reaches that high, more like 750, falling to around 600 after reaching 'idle' speed of 31-33%.
Try Thomson's Aviation Library or eFlightManuals.com for your manual needs. Cheers!

Cheers Rene Yes if you could email me a manual that would be great "vetteshop@live.com", im wanting to try and build a power turbine for the TT10 and install it in a motorcycle. I have a T-41 installed in a dune buggy Video on it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z96Htc124j8) and building a good reliable clutch system look many many hours thats why im thinking power turbine maybe one off a JFS-100 if i can find one, got lots of videos on you tube of all my engines running.
