Hey Guys,
Thought I'd share an interesting blurb at work. I work at Blevins Screw Products in Flint Michigan. We make jet engine spray nozzles (one of only 4 machine shops in the US that do this), among other parts.
We now are machining ventilator parts, as there seems to be a shortage of them and even the auto companies are being asked to do what they can to supply more. We are currently scrambling to write G code for these critical parts.
Stay healthy.

Hi Jeff
Yep , a shortage of ventilators here in Oz as most imported , they're scrambling to startup manufacture of them as well as masks
I ducked out for a 15 minute shop for food this morning then back to self isolation , not a big deal for this antisocial human with a shed :-)
Cheers John

Hi John,
I'm somewhat of a recluse myself.
Strange turn of events, but the guy responsible for milling the ventilator parts has come down with COVID19 himself and is in the hospital. I was sent home from work today as a precautionary measure.
Stay safe everyone.

Hi Jeff
All the best with your isolation :-)
We had a 91 year old neighbour die recently , went on a cruise with his wife to celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary , the ship was the infamous Ruby Princess that has been responsible for a huge percentage of our countries Covid cases and deaths , the ship is still lingering here in Oz as its crew is sick and they can't get the ship back to its home port in the Bahamas.
One "silver lining", we've learnt to do online grocery shopping ............its great , I might never visit another supermaket again .
Stay safe
Cheers John
