Now we are restoring the second L-29 Dolphin. I want to install a more powerful engine on it (Pratt & Whitney J60 / Jt12-6; Rolls Royce Viper 601; Rolls Royce Viper 540).

Hi! Are you still using the 601 in L-29? Discovered the issue with new bulletin on Lifetime items in this engine... Any info on the possibilities of operation would be deeply apreciated. Good afternoon. I just started installing 601. I haven't heard of any problems. There will be some information I will immediately let you know. Can you provide information on the flight characteristics of your aircraft with 601 engines? If you have any information on installing the 601 engine, I would be very grateful. Since you have to redesign the frame for mounting the engine, the starting device, and so on.
