Depending on ambient conditions , use a Synthetic lube , but 5W-30 should do the job , the main thing is that theres always good oil pressure at the turbo oil inlet even when the oil warms up .
I have a tank heater that I use to warm the oil so that spoolup is easier, even in the summer time , my run times are so short that the tank temp doesn't get too much .

Thankfully oil is probably the cheapest liquid involving this engine lol www.ebay.co.uk/itm/303081769191

Final bit to go and ready for oil testing.

Finished the oil system, the finally piece of pipe was left on the floor (bad idea) so when I picked it up by the end a fucking £1 coin sized spider crawled out onto my hand! Jump certainly got my heart going 😲 Fuel pump assembled with a 1m grease gun hose for a "remote" gauge and ready for leak testing with 600psi kerosene 😁

I think you have the exact same pump motor as the one I ended up with on the turbine bike after going through a number of too weak 12V oil pumps.
Looks solid your system does.

Yea it's one of the generic 24v 500w "ebike" motors off eBay coupled to a 1cc/r hydraulic gear pump and some 1/4bsp fittings to a pressure relief valve I'll set to 600psi. I'm hoping the grease gun hose will survive kerosene/petrol/diesel/whatever I burn but we'll see.. Though I'm more certain the coupler will end up failing as meant for 3d printers not this 😂

Fuel system mounted, little bit of tweaking to do but should work okay in that position and gives me clear access for the leaf blower which is another issue if I can't find the nozzle extension as can't reach 😂 Tempted to just sell the blower and make a electric starter lol

I am using 24v ebike motor as well.

It's pretty much one of these, I have cranked the poor little screw down as tight as possible but part of me thinks it'll slip so might just rough up the shaft with a dremel or put a grub screw in onto a flat but it'll probably be fine. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/283783204646Realistically the motors won't be powerful enough is probably the main worry I should have lol.

Just went at it with the pipe bender and did an "on site" bending which came out perfectly 😁

Sparky death machine fixed after one of the hv modules decided to burn out after sitting idle for a year but not before dumping the capacitor into my arms so at least I know how jumpy the shock is hence excess electrical tape lol. Also wood turning on a metal lathe is rather effective haha

Too bad the wood makes a fine mess when mixed with the cutting oil drenched lathe bed....
