Hello everyone,
I am currently considering building my first turbojet. The engine mission is pretty much self-sustenance for now, no specific thrust requirement or anything yet. Being located in southern Ontario, Canada, I currently have the following turbos in junkyards near me:
Holset HT-60 - Holset HX-55
- Holset HE431VE
- Garrett GT3788VA
Unfortunately since I found these turbos online, I don't have exact measurements of their configs yet. Planning to use jetspecs and go with a simple build once the turbo is acquired. As a pre-screening, does anyone have experience or advice/info specific to any of these turbos? In theory they should all meet the 20% area rule (that is between compressor inlet and turbine outlet right?)
Thanks in advance!

Pick one with single entry turbine housing if possible, divided housing is a "compromise" for flow and hot spot on the divider, but surely people have managed to use them successfully too. HX55 and GT37s are probably easiest to find spares.
Correct, 20% rule is between comp inlet and turbine outlet, turbine being the bigger one.

Thanks in advance! Hi, wellcome.... as miuge said, try and get a single entry.... twins will work with a little work, but if you can a single entry would make life easy for you ..... Good luck with you build... plenty of pictures and video please
