Hi guys, I have been planning to build a turbojet for some time now and decided its time to start but i wanted to do something a little different from the sore thumb style jets and the annular combustion ones. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a jet with 5 combustion chambers (just round ones with basic FTs) feeding back into the same turbine. The original turbo core would be kept to make construction easier and the combustors would be reverse flow. To make it as compact as possible id like to add an axial freepower wheel just behind the ends of the combustion chambers and have the exhaust of that behind the combustion chambers.. Just to make it clear why i would want this is because i want a freepower unit that is as compact as possible but also round instead of a weird shape. Power wise it doesnt really matter as i only want about 10 HP which should not be a problem to get from a 50mm inducer right? Anyways thats just ambitious me but since i dont have a mill i might need to do it the normal way. Cheers, Neo

Hi Neo
Anything is possible if we want to put the time and effort into building it, but splitting a relatively small mass flow into even smaller segments will increase your losses, and the small flow segments will need very small fueling components.
