I have designed an afterburner and I am hesitant to use fuel right away. Would it be feasible to use a natural be vital glycerin and water mix first to make sure the liquid delivery is safe? My afterburner fuel ring shoots towards the turbine based on a spec diagram I have found. Thanks for any help. I have heard of folks doing this also as a fun way to make a turbojet fog machine to just kind of play around with.

Maybe worth a try if you're concerned about pumping in fuel .............or you could be adventurous and just "do it" :-)

The pressures in that thing are so high that my pump would not pump fluid to the fuel ring. The afterburner over heated a bit just at idle of 6 p2. I made something wrong. The engine was trying to surge as well. At p2 of 6 the tot went up to 1000f. I shut it down and did a checkup. No damages. I may just stick with my trust jet pipe. I'm just curious what kind of pump and check valve I would need for an AB. My pump is way too weak lol. Thanks again for your help John.
