Hello Jetman here, after getting the amazon junk turbo out of my mind (Thanks Racket for the push to not get it!!) I have aquired a Gt5518 Turbo! Exhaust A/R is 1.60, Intake A/R is 1.10. Intake diameter is 3.5 in exhaust diameter is 4.0 in. How much usable thrust can this turbo generate? i am hoping to mount it on a bike... Thanks!

Probably ~80 lbs if it has an 81.5mm comp inducer

That's a low pressure turbo off a cat 15.2L acert engine. Comp inlet is 88mm,118ex. 112/102 turbine, Boreless shaft with titanium compressor wheel. Very heavy turbo with the iron compressor housing, 94lbs I think?

Yes she’s pretty heavy!! I was wondering if anybody has tried using diaphragm pumps for the oil pump? Here is one I was looking at…

Hi,
most of the cheaps 12V ones have EPDM as diaphragm material. EPDM is not resistant to engine oil because it absorbs it and expands.
They can be used but don‘t expect them to last forever.

Oil at turbo lube inlet
P2 comp discharge , in a quiet corner of the combustor where air speeds are low

Hello! The engine is slowly coming along… I am in need of a high gph oil nozzle and can’t seem to locate one in the U.S or Canada. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks
