Are there any equations or specifications for designing the nozzle for the DIY gas turbine engine? I.e., the right dimensions. I heard that lowering the nozzle exit area increases thrust and that you want a kind of an ellipse. Additionally, how to design the lubrication system.

The nozzle area needs to be small enough to provide the correct backpressure on the engine so that running temperatures are within safe limits , too small a nozzle and you'll over temp the engine and damage the turbine wheel .
